Roots in Western New York State
UltraMobile was founded in Rochester, NY in 1993 by Dr. Kenneth Ouriel and purchased
by Will Irwin in 2003. UMI has grown to become the technology leader
for mobile diagnostic imaging in Western New York State. Today UMI provides
the Western NYS community with mobile diagnostic exams in Skilled Nursing Facilities,
independent and assisted living communities, group homes, private physician
clinics, and private patient residences.
Our Company President, Will Irwin
Will has lived in Western NYS for 30 years. He is committed
to enhancing the quality of life here, especially for our elderly
population. He serves on the board of Lifespan,
which provides services to and advocates for the needs of our elderly
population. He is a graduate of Princeton University, received
his MBA from the Wharton School, and earned his CPA license in
1979. He is a seasoned, business executive with experience
in the technology sector.
Quality assurance
Accuracy of interpretation, timeliness, and quality of technique
are actively monitored at UltraMobile. UltraMobile employs
a Board Certified Radiologist as its Supervising Physician. He
audits our x-rays on an on-going basis and provides feedback for
continuous process improvement.
Mission
UltraMobile’s mission is to provide timely, accurate digital,
diagnostic services to elderly patients in long-term care facilities,
in doctor’s offices, or at their homes. We are focused on
patient comfort and safety. We promptly make exams and interpretations
available on , our Health Network, where we emphasize secure, easy-to-use,
online access by all the stakeholders responsible for our patients’ care:
the staff at our client facilities, their Physicians, the Clinicians,
and the interpreting Radiologists, Cardiologists, and Vascular
Surgeons.
